Midline Medicine 2: Back to the Beginning
Midline Medicine 2: Back to the Beginning
This News Drop sequence is all about the midline, or central channel, where all of life and healing begin.
When it comes to healing and flow, to get anywhere is to get ‘midline.’
Let’s add another drop.
Before you were solid, you were fluid. We are wave first, structure second.
Before you were solid, you were fluid. Literally.
Not long after conception, before any evidence of your body structure emerged, your midline axis was first revealed by a wave. This wave was the beginning of all the cells of your body ‘knowing’ what and where to become.
We are wave first, structure second, and the forces that grew you are the same forces that heal you.
Not yet sure why imagining and feeling midline powerfully influences our bodies?
It is widely accepted that energy follows thought. In neuroscience, visualization is shown to have profound effects on our physiology. Our bodies don’t know the difference between real and imagined.
Last week, I wrote about sensing and visualizing to strengthen our midline.
We talked about feeling and/or visualizing an infinite connection from your heart into and beyond the Earth and another into and beyond the sky.
How’s it going?
Rather than take my word for anything, let’s do some research.
I want to add one more little piece to our exploration of the power midline to orient you in your body and your life — the power of finding “True North” and connecting to your inner compass.
Rather than take my word for anything, let’s do some research. For this bit, we will need a research assistant.
When I said ‘visualize a connection,’ I didn’t say what kind. For some, the sense of connection downward can emerge by imagining tree roots from our feet, or even pelvis or kidneys, into the ground. For others or the same person on a different day, a ship’s rope with an anchor to the center of the Earth might do the trick.
As you try different approaches, ask a friend to test how anchored you are by trying to tip you over. When we’re truly grounded, it’s not so easy. Our midline, or True North, is that powerful.
We’d love to hear how it goes!
Here’s a gorgeous share from our study group:
“This is very electric for me . . . very electric tingling . . . and when you said ‘things haven’t been used . . . and are regenerating,’ I think things are almost being recharged . . . The electrical forces that have been neglected.”
Another drop is on its way . . . we’ll be dripping ‘Midline Medicine Part 3’ into your inbox next week!
