Where Did Your Butt Go?

Maybe you never had a great butt. Maybe you had one, and it mysteriously disappeared.
 
Either way, you can get it back! And you must because when you move like a fluid, effortlessly engaging every cell in your body, you bring your body and energy back in line. The benefits run DEEP, the LEAST of which is your butt will grow back. You will also be brighter, stronger, more inspired, and more REGULATED, neurologically speaking.
 

Without getting too deep into the science, let’s get right down to it. FIRSTLY, the muscles of your back body activate the parasympathetic nervous system. You know, the “rest & digest” channel. This is also the “tone down the stress” channel that opens the doorway to glow and flow.

 

Let’s do it.

 
Begin by temporarily exaggerating the right actions of the gait.
 
Natural walking is all about FEELING. As you walk through space, FEEL the ground as if it’s your dance partner. We are leaving “wet noodle slop” behind. No one wants to dance with that person!
 
The first 3 “steps” are:
  1. Maintain a bit of tension in your legs as if you are depressing and releasing a spring. Your legs are springs.
  2. Pause for just an instant on the ball of your feet with each step, in a mini deep knee bend, til you FEEL IT.
  3. FEEL your butt and quads (thigh muscles) burn a little bit. And your hamstrings release..
 
This is an exaggeration of right muscle firing that will soon become smooth and second nature. This is a built-in “muscle energy” treatment (an osteopathic term) that you will be giving yourself at each moment. There’s more to it, but let’s start with that for now.
